Bathrooms are so-so. Showers are hot and they got tp. Avoid booking a site close to Avoid booking a site close to any of the facilities. Campground is probably hit or miss depending on flat out luck. No rules beyond check in at this time and check out at that time. Sounds great right?

Depends on what kind of camping experience you are looking for. Do you want to base camp and come back and crash in your tent or rv, not going to happen until after midnight. If you want somewhere to meet overlanding folk that are using the campsites as a rave in Moab, this might be your spot. Bring bug spray, bring a mallet to hammer stakes in standard cheapo L aluminums are fine , bring headphones to drown out noise after 11pm.

The sites are small, and campers are packed in tight. However, despite that, it really is a nice location for the area. The beach is so close you can bike there, or even walk if you don't have a lot to carry. You can drive to Ocean City for a night out You can drive to Ocean City for a night out, or go north for all the outlet shopping you can stand. Our site was close to the outskirts of the park, and although the park was "full" it was relatively quiet. The two sites in front of ours stayed empty the entire week we were there even tho the website showed no vacant spots which was a good thing, because it made hooking up to our travel trailer and pulling out a bit easier without worrying about a camper in front of us.

Although all the sites are pull-through they are that tight. We used the community campfire several times, and only had company one night - the firepit is large enough to share.

The first nite a Sunday the bathrooms were horrendous, but they were cleaned and maintained a bit better during the week. The local turtles, terrapins, were laying eggs all over the campground. You had to be careful not to hit them, but it was common to see them traipsing through your site, and looking for a place to dig a hole. Ask yourself this question Why are you here? Not to be all philosophical, but the reason you are here is the beach :D.

If you come to somewhere expecting a private site with nice sitting area - look elsewhere. The sites are big enough, it's full hookup at a great price. As others have said - they have no shade, etc. They have plante They have planted some trees that I'm sure will be nice in years Signage into the park is poor - we arrived in the dark and took a little to work out where the entrance was :D. Great fun with the toad!

Site not level - but not far enough off to be a concern. Great hookups. Very close to the beach, marina, walks, etc. Easy drive to all the tourist spots.

Maybe the best I've had in the USA. Just go there :D. A crammed in, near-to-the-beach, 'are you a regular here? The beach treated us right. The campground? It was not our favorite. We were here over the Fourth of July - so our ex We were here over the Fourth of July - so our experience reflects a typical American summer holiday campground "fun" show. Warning: there are a crapton of horseshoe crabs on this area of the beach, so if that sort of thing creeps you out, maybe walk further down. The campground is close knit both in proximity to your neighbor - without any sort of foliage separating you - and in the regularity of the visitors here.

We quickly found out that this campground books with regulars - people that come back to the same spots every year with their neighbors The campground hosts were definitely buddies with the drunk regulars Otherwise, this park hosts lots of turtles, lots of families and kid gangs riding their bikes, and lots of sandy sites ready to flood your rig with tiny particles of no joy.

Full hook-ups with a few back-up sites saved in case your hook-ups give way during your stay which I thought was a nice touch. Full hookups 50amp, water, sewer with great water pressure at 65psi. The roads are somewhat narrow, but access is fine especially since we camped in an end site. We loved site even though it was the end site where everyone passed when entering the campground.

We had unobstructed views of the brid We had unobstructed views of the bridge and the inlet. Very well maintained campground. Asphalt was in good condition. Paved site. Plenty of dumpsters. Easy access on and off the main highway after the bridge.

This was our first trip here and we love everything about this campground. My wife and kids loved the fact that they could walk to the beach and I like how peaceful the campground was. There is some noise from the occasional load car showing off going up the highway but for the most part it was quite. Fishing was fun to do on the in Fishing was fun to do on the inlet and the people were friendly. If I had one complaint it would be that the paved pads could be just a bit wider.

Stayed over Labor Day weekend. This was our first stay at a campground site with this many campers, felt a little like being on the infield at a NASCAR race. Campers were super friendly, the Campers were super friendly, the beach and fishing are within walking distance.

Camp host were friendly and helpful. We had good phone service Verizon. Bathhouses had push button showers - just a little frustrating - but the bathhouses near the tent campers had normal showers.

Only real complaint would be that sites to not drain well and became lakes after a rain. I was expecting more of a parking lot feel with no character after reading other reviews and while it is open and not very private, it was a lot nicer than I expected. We stayed in the North campground. Nice level asphalt sites, strong power and a decent amount of space for sitting out. Cell was good with ATT 17 d T mobile was too slow to be usable but I didn't bother trying a booster.

There was plenty of OTA channels. This is an absolutely excellent park at the Delaware Shore. We had beautiful walks down by the Indian River Inlet and through the park itself. Beach Access is so easy, my 80 year old grandmother who came camping with us made it over with no problem.
